Angove Organic Wines win Gold
Angove Family Winemakers are excited to announce they have been awarded 3 Gold medals and 2 Silver medals at the 9th International Organic Wine Awards held in Germany.
This Wine competition is exclusively for wines made from organically grown grapes (organic wine) and uniquely takes place under the guidance of sensory experts and the PAR system.
The transparent and easily comprehensible wine evaluation method according to the PAR-system takes the overall sensorial effect in consideration and therewith distinguishes the organic wines different properties and desirable attributes.
This international award for organic wines has become one of the most important tastings in the wine sector. In the year 2018 wineries and distributors out of 25 countries with over 1100 wines have taken part - a record attendance.
A highly professional tasting jury and the incorruptible PAR-system enable an objective and therefore generally accepted and recognized evaluation procedure.
The Angove Organic Wines to receive gold medals were the Angove McLaren Vale Warboys Vineyard Shiraz 2016, Wild Olive McLaren Vale Organic Shiraz 2016 and the fantastic value Angove Organic Chardonnay 2017. Silver medals were awarded to the Wild Olive Organic Chardonnay 2017 and Angove Organic Shiraz Cabernet 2017.
